Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic retail team. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers while contributing to the overall success of our store.
Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, products, and services to effectively upsell and cross-sell items.
- Assist with product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to customers.
- Stock shelves and ensure merchandise is displayed attractively and organized.
- Process sales transactions using the POS system efficiently.
- Answer customer inquiries over the phone with excellent phone etiquette.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Strong cash handling skills with basic math proficiency for accurate transaction processing.
- Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A proactive attitude towards upselling products and enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as necessary.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
