Job Title: Customer Care Specialist (Lubricant Distribution and Manufacturing Industry)
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Care Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between the company and our customers, ensuring their needs are met while providing excellent service and support. The role requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of the lubricants product line.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Support-
Handle inquiries from customers regarding product specifications, pricing, and availability.
Provide guidance on the appropriate lubricants for various applications and industries.
Resolve product-related concerns and issues by collaborating with internal teams.
Assist customers in placing orders, tracking shipments, and providing updates on delivery status.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of orders and manage back-order situations when necessary.
Review and confirm customer orders to ensure proper quantities, pricing, and delivery information.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers to promote customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Address customer complaints or issues with empathy, professionalism, and timely solutions.
Product Knowledge & Advice-
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the company's product offerings, including types of lubricants (e.g., engine oils, industrial oils, grease) and their specific applications.
Advise customers on the best lubricant solutions for their operational needs, providing technical support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Prior experience in customer service or sales within the retail and wholesale lubricant distribution or related industry is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of lubricant products, their applications, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using customer management software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). NetSuite experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work independently and strategically with minimal oversight by supervisor.
Additional Skills:
- Knowledge of technical specifications related to lubricants and their use in various industries (automotive, industrial, etc.).
- Fluency in multiple languages is a plus, depending on the geographical scope of the customer base.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position with standard office hours, with occasional flexibility required to accommodate customer time zones or urgent inquiries. Depending on candidate’s location, position will be remote or remote-office hybrid.
- Possible travel to client sites for training or troubleshooting.
- Reports to the Director of Business Development.
