Dime Community Bank is hiring an Audit Intern for its 2024 Summer Internship Program (see Responsibilities and Qualifications below). The hourly wage minimum = $16; maximum = $18. The exact pay may vary based on skills, experience, training, licenses / certifications, language necessities, and location.
Responsibilities for the Audit Summer Intern include :
- Assisting audit staff and senior auditors with testing across the annual audit plan.
- Assisting the audit managers in planning the 2025 SOX Testing Program and performing interim testing over several key controls.
- Preparing and presenting reports outlining department initiatives relating to audit finding closure verification, department‐wide champion projects, and audit plan statuses.
- Assisting the Director of Internal Audit with ad‐hoc tasks, including report generation, meeting participation (taking minutes), and other stakeholder activities.
