Manager, Portfolio Strategy
Summary of Functions
The Dimension Origination Team is responsible for managing all customer acquisition activities for both projects in development and projects in operations. We are seeking a Manager of Portfolio Strategy who will work closely with both Origination and Asset Management to develop strategies that help Dimension retain existing customers and acquire new customers for operating assets. In doing so, the Manager of Portfolio Strategy will be a major driver of increasing project net income.
You will report to the Director of Origination, with a dotted line into the Asset Management group. Your overall objective will be to keep Dimension's projects fully subscribed through strategies that maximize net operating income. The primary focus will be developing strategies to acquire new customers to replace customers whose subscriptions to Dimension's projects are cancelled or terminated. This will include managing existing subscription management partners, working closely with community partners, and coordinating customer acquisition activities across multiple channels. You will also be responsible for managing Dimension's portfolio of subscription agreements with commercial customers. Finally, you will also oversee the development of customer retention strategies including identifying initiatives that improve the overall customer experience for Dimension customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Integrating with Asset Management to monitor customer subscription levels on Dimension projects
- Developing and maintaining reports that reflect the key parameters related to project subscription levels, customer payments, etc.
- Developing customer acquisition strategy on all Dimension operating projects
- Overseeing subscription management partner obligations as it relates to replacement customer acquisition
- Optimizing the customer acquisition strategy to minimize costs and drive project revenues
- Overseeing all commercial contracts and ensuring that Dimension is meeting ongoing obligations within those contracts
- Serving as the key point of contact for all commercial customers and/or the commercial customer representatives
- Sourcing replacement commercial customers
- Serving as the key point of contact for Dimension community partners for all operating projects
- Enhancing the overall customer experience for Dimension subscribers on active projects
- Working with subscription managers to develop communication campaigns that keep customers aware of the benefit they are receiving
- Developing new, innovative customer engagement strategies
- Developing proactive strategies to keep Dimension projects fully subscribed
- Analyzing customer churn trends with Asset Management to better understand customer needs for operating projects
- Identifying "high-value" customers and developing strategies to find replacement customers with those traits
- Overseeing all logistics associated with acquiring and onboarding new customers
- Ensuring all documentation and processes used to acquire customers comply with applicable consumer protection regulations
- Developing and overseeing QA/QC processes to ensure new customers and all subscription documentation meet Dimension requirements
- Organizing all documentation and customer records in accordance with Asset Management structure
Qualifications
We are looking for highly motivated individuals who want to be part of a fast-paced, dynamic company poised for growth in one of the country’s most rapidly changing industries. This role requires forward-thinking, innovative approaches and comfort with complexity and uncertainty. Additionally, we are looking for team members with:
- 3-5 years of experience in account management, inside sales, portfolio management, asset management, etc.
- Preference for experience renewable energy, finance, real estate, or a similarly relevant field
- Contract management experience, including an understanding of how to manage partners to achieve optimal results for the company and ability to leverage contract terms to drive partner performance
- Project management experience with strong organization and time management abilities
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage diverse relationships and multiple, complex projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills in both oral and written English
- Ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment
- Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
- Bachelor's degree required
Physical Demands
Though Dimension believes in overall work/life balance, we also know that success requires short term imbalances. Long hours will be needed from time to time as dictated by project deadlines. We also prize the teamwork and collaboration that comes with being in the same office as coworkers and expect the Manager of Portfolio Strategy will be in office four days per week. Some travel will also be required, but it should not exceed 1-2 days per month on a normal basis.

Salary and Benefits
The base salary range for this position is $125,000 - $150,000 per year. The position will also include a bonus incentive program. Dimension offers a generous benefits package as well.
