Reporting to the Vice President, Finance Legal Affairs, this role will play a critical part in driving strategic decision-making through in-depth financial analysis, forecasting, and financial planning for Dimensional Holdings companies by providing real time data and analytics to help manage and scale the businesses and drive profitability. This role will collaborate with team members and departments across multiple organizations and must be equipped to dive into details while keeping the big picture in mind. The Financial Analyst II works in data analytics and dashboards, budgeting and forecasts, operational and financial reporting, process improvement, and change management.

This is a salary (exempt) position. Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS may include but are not limited to:
- Updates and communicates financial statements and reports, variance analysis, forecasts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow), dashboards, and other financial analysis with focus on actionable insights that can drive improved profitability
- Leads the creation and presentation of financial forecasts and financial literacy training, using business understanding and data insights to inform financial forecasts
- Combines financial statements from multiple entities into a consolidated holding company model to analyze historical performance and project future results
- Creates and implements reporting metrics and process improvement initiatives, always looking for ways to streamline and find scalable efficiency
- Strong understanding of sales, operations, and financial data sources and how the data and systems relate to one another
- Supports the creation of quarterly board meeting presentations, working with company leadership to provide business reviews and summary financial updates
- Performs adhoc financial and operational analysis as needed, with a focus on actionable insights
- Clearly communicates actionable financial and business insights to leadership, and provides recommended actions to improve financial performance
- Facilitates the planning and creation of the annual budget and GGOB Bonus Plan
- Ensures the confidentiality and security of company’s financial information
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to quickly learn and adopt new software and systems, including a willingness to embrace AI and how it can be used to streamline processes
- Highly capable of managing multiple projects and initiatives, across multiple companies, with the ability to change priorities when needed
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams in carrying out strategic projects with the ability to collaborate with diverse personalities
- Comfort with ambiguity — ability to bridge the gap between finance and non-financial stakeholders
- Ability to be flexible in a very fast-paced and creative environment
- Proficiency with data to track performance and manage profitability
- Ability to think strategically, and create and execute plans that support the company’s mission
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with staff at all levels of the company
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related program required
- 3 to 5 years of related prior work experience required, preferably in the construction, manufacturing, or related Industry
- Strong understanding of accounting and financial principles, understanding of construction accounting principles, project lifecycle, and cost control methods Is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as well as other accounting software
- Ability to perform advanced to expert level spreadsheet functions and formulas in Excel and Google Sheets
