CNC Operator

Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and reliable CNC Operator to join our team at Dimensional Stoneworks. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC machines in a stone fabrication environment and possess a keen eye for detail, accuracy, and efficiency. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in CNC machining who is looking to grow in the stone fabrication industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC machines to cut, shape, and finish stone materials according to project specifications.
• Set up and calibrate CNC equipment for precision cutting and engraving.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Inspect finished products for quality, ensuring they meet project specifications and Dimensional Stoneworks’ high standards.
• Collaborate with the design and installation teams to ensure timely project completion.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Ensure material waste is minimized and efficiency is maximized in all operations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a CNC Operator, ideally in the stone fabrication industry.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machinery, including setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with stone materials (granite, marble, quartz, etc.) is preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and perform manual tasks as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
