Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and reliable CNC Operator to join our team at Dimensional Stoneworks. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC machines in a stone fabrication environment and possess a keen eye for detail, accuracy, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC machines to cut, shape, and finish stone materials according to project specifications.
- Set up and calibrate CNC equipment for precision cutting and engraving.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect finished products for quality, ensuring they meet project specifications and Dimensional Stoneworks’ high standards.
- Collaborate with the design and installation teams to ensure timely project completion.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Ensure material waste is minimized and efficiency is maximized in all operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator, ideally in the stone fabrication industry.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong knowledge of CNC machinery, including setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with stone materials (granite, marble, quartz, etc.) is preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform manual tasks as required.
