- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience working with the senior population preferred
- Assist residents with everyday ADL's such as; dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, eating, transport to and from activities, etc.
- Follow resident care plans, document changes to resident condition according to community policy/procedure.
- Follow standard precautions and works within OSHA regulations.
- Ensure residents and families receive the highest level of service.
- Follows all shift routines policy and procedures regarding accurate performance.
- Answers resident call lights promptly for assigned residents and willingly supports team members in answering call lights for unassigned residents.
- Assist with laundry when needed.
- Reports to nurse all incidents and accidents that occur involving residents, co-workers and visitors.
- Delivers meals and assists residents with eating as needed.
- Attend and participate in scheduled nursing meetings.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
