What are the responsibilities and job description for the Short Shift Caregiver position at Dimensions Living Stevens Point?
Dimensions Living Stevens Point is searching for energetic, outgoing, and compassionate caregivers to join our team. We are currently searching for part-time day shift 8:30AM-12:30PM (28 hours per pay period) caregivers. Every other weekend and every other holiday is required. - High school diploma
- Previous experience in a senior living setting preferred
Assist resident with ADL's such as; bathing, dressing, grooming, showering, laundry etc.
- Complete resident charting as assigned.
- Monitor residents for change of condition and report to supervisor if needed.
- Follow all infection control policies/procedures.
- Participate in shift huddles.
- Review and be familiar with resident plan of care and history as appropriate to ensure quality care for each resident.
- Review daily assignment sheets for changes at the beginning of each shift.
- Answer call lights promptly and complete proper documentation.
- Attend and participate in regularly scheduled staff meetings and trainings.
- Work as a team, be a team player.
