The Wisconsin Veterans Home at Chippewa Falls provides compassionate and professional long-term, skilled nursing care to veterans and spouses who cannot be cared for in their homes.
We do not mandate you to stay or work more than your scheduled shift AND we do not cut work schedules due to low census! Schedule (Available Positions) : Full-time PM shift (2 : 00pm - 10 : 00pm) Part-time AM shift (6 : 00am - 2 : 00pm) We also are currently accepting new casual / PRN employees! *Every other weekend and every other holiday required with full-time & part-time positions This position is responsible for providing assigned residents with routine daily nursing cares in accordance with established facility nursing care procedures as trained and directed by the Director of Nursing (DON), Registered Nurse (RN), Unit Manager and / or other licensed nurse.
The CNA is required to report assistance provided with daily cares, and noted changes in a resident's physical, psychosocial, mental, or emotional conditions according to community policy and procedure.
This position is an integral role that is the heartbeat of this community.
