The headquarters of DiMillo’s Yachts Sales, based in Portland, Maine, is thrilled to announce an opening for a full time Office Assistant. This entry level, in office, position requires a person who can adapt to the ebb and flow of our seasonal location. During the spring, summer and fall, this office and docks are bustling with an abundance of activity from clients to prospective buyers to co-workers to manufacturers with plenty of tasks to fill the day. The customer facetime is less during the winter months but this time is crucial to prepare for the upcoming season.
The ideal candidate will have a welcoming and friendly demeanor both in person and on the phone. This position requires a conscientious self-starter with the ability to seamlessly jump between various administrative tasks and local errands throughout the day. Customer Service, discretion and communication skills are a must as this role will support the sales, marketing and administrative teams. This person is able to problem solve and work independently once the initial task is assigned. We are looking for a person who can identify what needs to be done and then take the initiative to do so.
This position is not a remote position and requires the employee to be onsite in our sales office Monday through Friday. While this is an entry level position, there is opportunity for growth.

Office Assistant Responsibilities:
- Greet all visitors and direct them to the correct broker, marina or service personnel
- When clients arrive, ensure they are comfortable, offering them beverages, restrooms, etc.
- Answering the phone and directing calls to appropriate person
- General errand runner (supplies, customer support, etc)
- Misc. shipping/labeling/filing/data entry
- Ordering office supplies
- Help to maintain an organized and presentable office
- Prepare new hire packets
- Ordering and coordinating clothing for sales and admin team
- Organize and execute company lunches, gifts, events, etc.
- Other duties as assigned

DiMillo’s Yacht Sales is a professional yacht dealership and brokerage firm with six locations stretching along the east coast including Freeport, Portland & Kennebunk, Maine; Glen Cove, New York and West River and Oxford, Maryland. DiMillo’s has been providing yacht sales expertise since 1998, and represents new yachts from Sabre Yachts, Back Cove Yachts, Tiara Yachts and MJM Yachts. In addition to new and pre-owned yacht sales, DiMillo’s is proud to have a full-time, year-round service team that focuses efforts on their new and brokerage buyers. The service team’s capabilities include all aspects of commissioning new vessels, yacht repair and in-house captain services.
