Job Description
The Collision Center Porter is responsible for performing a variety of duties as they relate to the operation of a collision center. The ideal candidate has at least one year of dealer-level or large facility experience and an unrestricted driver's license and a clean driving record.
Responsibilities
- Picks up and delivers customers to/from desired locations
- Picks up and delivers vehicles to sublet vendors and customers as directed
- Moves vehicles from intake area to storage area
- Moves vehicles inside and outside of collision center to help achieve production standards
- Maintains neat and orderly production and paint areas by sweeping, removing trash and discarded parts, and performing other actions required to maintain the appearance of the production and paint areas
- Maintains other areas of the collision center such as the offices, storage areas, and around the outside of the collision center
- Understands and follows federal, state, and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes
- Saves and tags all warranty parts for storage
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; some post high school education or training preferred
- Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles
- Highly professional and dependable
- Experience providing quality customer service
