POSITION RESPONSIBILITY: The Service Manager is responsible for overseeing an efficient and profitable service department through productive staffing, customer retention, cost controls, achievement of objectives, and maintenance of all service records.
Essential Duties And Tasks
ABILITY TO:
Bachelor’s Degree or relative college experience preferred in a related field.
5-7 years Service Manager experience in a powersports dealership REQUIRED. Candidates with no powersports experience will be disqualified from consideration.
Proven success driving profitability and promoting a productive and cohesive work environment.
Lightspeed Experience HIGHLY PREFERRED.
Proficient computer skills with experience using management reporting tools.
Excellent selling, leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong work history.
Valid in-state Driver's license and clean driving record required.

Job Description
POSITION RESPONSIBILITY: The Service Manager is responsible for overseeing an efficient and profitable service department through productive staffing, customer retention, cost controls, achievement of objectives, and maintenance of all service records.
Essential Duties And Tasks
- Forecasts goals and objectives for the department and strives to meet them.
- Prepares and administers an annual operating budget for the service department.
- Maintains reporting systems required by general management and individual manufacturers.
- Maintain daily sales and production records as prescribed by dealership management.
- Review the sales performance/CSI of service advisors and provide coaching, as needed.
- Ensure that all shop equipment is in proper and safe working conditions.
- Schedule training as necessary to properly repair and service all machines the dealership sells.
- Manage proper repair order flow to satisfy manufacturer/dealership/ business office requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
