Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Sales Executives to ensure timely submissions and outstanding item requests
- Communicate with carriers to deliver quotes and negotiate coverage/pricing/add-ons; verify returned quotes match requested coverage.
- Track marketing activities with complete applications, correspondence, and other required forms
- Provide top 3-5 quotes and any specifically requested quotes to Sales Executive
- Create proposals on time, ensuring accurate information is provided in the proposal
- Bind coverage on sold policies; submit standard "no-go" letters to other quoting carriers; transfer accounts to assigned Account Executives
Requirements
- Active Property and Casualty Insurance Producer License
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a successful Commercial Lines Account Executive
- Strong insurance knowledge with ability to discuss coverage with underwriters and insureds
- Proficient PC skills, with ability to effectively utilize agency management systems, Microsoft software products, and carrier resources
- Ability to work independently within fast-paced, changing environment
- Proactive, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
