Duty Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, unless otherwise on assignment after hours.
Summary/Objective of Position:
The Student Recruitment Specialist for the School of Transformation (SoT) is responsible for promoting certificate and certification programs through proactive outreach, marketing, and recruitment strategies. This position requires extensive travel to engage with prospective students, high schools, tribal agencies, community organizations, and workforce development partners to increase awareness and enrollment in SoT programs. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills to support the SoT's mission of workforce development and professional training for Tribal Nations.

Recruitment & Outreach:
- Develop and execute a student recruitment plan aligned with the strategic objectives of the School of Transformation.
- Travel to high schools, tribal organizations, career fairs, community events, and workforce centers to promote SoT programs.
- Establish relationships with local and regional stakeholders, including employers and tribal leadership, to enhance student enrollment.

Marketing & Communications:
- Deliver presentations and host information sessions to promote SoT courses and career pathways.
- Collaborate with Din College's marketing team to create outreach materials such as brochures, social media content, and digital campaigns.
- Represent the SoT at networking events, conferences, and education fairs to increase visibility.

Student Engagement & Enrollment Support:
- Provide one-on-one guidance to prospective students on program offerings, admissions requirements, and financial assistance options.
- Assist students with application processes, course selection, and onboarding to ensure a seamless transition into their chosen program.
- Track and report recruitment metrics, identifying trends and opportunities for improving enrollment efforts.

Collaboration & Program Development:
- Work with faculty and staff to align recruitment strategies with industry and workforce demands.
- Partner with workforce development programs, tribal employment offices, and local businesses to create training pipelines for students.
- Support special projects and initiatives that enhance student engagement and program accessibility
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
Minimum:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, Communications, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in student recruitment, admissions, marketing, workforce development, or a related area.
Preferred:
- Master's degree preferred but not required.
- Experience working with Tribal Nations or within a higher education setting is highly preferred.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong public speaking, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to travel frequently and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Knowledge of digital and traditional marketing strategies for student outreach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, social media platforms, and CRM systems for recruitment tracking.
Physical Requirements, Work Environment & Travel:
- Regular travel is required within Tribal Nations and surrounding areas.
- Must be able to lift and carry promotional materials (up to 25 lbs).
- Frequent community interaction and event participation in indoor and outdoor settings.
