About the Role
The Field FSQA Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and quality of all food ingredients, recipes, and preparation processes across Din Tai Fung's North American locations.
- Conduct store visits to support recipe preparation and ensure compliance with food safety standards and corrective actions.
- Conduct Supply Chain audits and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain Team to vet new suppliers.
- Investigate food safety or quality issues and determine root causes.
- Implement and monitor Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Provide technical support for new product launches.
- Prepare KPI reports and summarize findings for FSQA trends.
- Support health department inspections and address non-conformities.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years in food safety and quality assurance, preferably in a multi-unit food service or retail environment.
- Experience managing diverse food categories, including proteins, produce, and dry items.
- Proven ability to conduct audits and manage supplier relationships in both national and international contexts.
Certifications
- HACCP certification is required.
- ServSafe Manager certification is required.
Preferred Requirements
- Prior experience as Health Department Inspector.
- Prior experience in similar role with another chain restaurant.
- Bilingual - Spanish.
