Restaurant Manager Job Description
Din Tai Fung is seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for managing the brand, ensuring food quality meets our standards, managing inventory, and controlling costs to ensure budgets are met in the front of house operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the restaurant on a day-to-day basis, ensuring seamless operations and high-quality customer service.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance the overall dining experience.
- Lead and motivate a team of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service and high-quality food preparation.
- Monitor and control costs, including labor, inventory, and supplies, to ensure budgetary targets are met.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and implement new menu items and promotions.
Requirements:
- Minimum two years of experience as a manager in a full-service restaurant or education.
- Food Handler's Card.
- Flexible work schedule, with a minimum of 5 days per week and 10 hours per day.
- Ability to efficiently operate in Microsoft Office Suite and Email.
- Positive and professional attitude, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic cooking skills and ability to stand for long periods of time.
