Claims/Permit Administrator
Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely reporting and claims management for workers' compensation, general liability, and property related incidents.
- Manage new claim intake/submissions for multiple regional locations.
- Interface with Team Members and external parties on claims related matters.
- Assists with investigation of accidents, and injuries, and cooperates in the preparation of material and evidence for the organization use in court hearings, lawsuits, and insurance investigations.
- Manage Workers' Compensation Claims and coordinate with Human Resources on an early Return-to-Work process.
- Work with carrier adjusters and third-party administrators to effectively manage and close claims.
- Prepare Loss Runs for management review.
- Manage restaurant business license and permits that may include liquor, health, sign, remodel, certificate of occupancy, trash disposal with local authorities.
- Apply and track license/permit application approvals, renewals, and timely payment processing.
- Review license/permit documents and letters and appropriately file and/or direct to appropriate Team Members to be addressed.
- Base Salary $75,000
Qualifications:
- Microsoft Office skills (Proficient with Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Prior insurance claims experience preferred.
- Office/Customer service experience.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
- Detail-oriented, effective communication and phone skills.
- Ability to independently prioritize work, follow procedures and take action to complete daily tasks.
