Duty Schedule:
Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; some evening and weekend work may be required.
Summary/Objective of Position:
Under general supervision, performs work of campus center deliveries, receiving, warehousing; operates and maintains the company vehicles in a safe and legal manner; knowledge of the operational functions of any equipment that is being transported. Properly and safely loading all types of equipment and merchandise. Ability to follow directions and processes while providing a high level of customer service, both internally and externally.
Description of Essential Functions of the Position

- Prepare for client deliveries ensuring all merchandise has proper paperwork, deposits and correspondences;
- Ensure the proper loading of merchandise onto the vehicle for delivery with an equipment, furniture and necessary supplies;
- Assist with receiving, opening, inspecting, photographing, logging and warehousing incoming merchandise both from vendor and incoming/outgoing to departments;
- Coordination of damage merchandise/equipment to stock and the resolution of repair claims with vendor and/or repair service as required;
- Assists with scheduling of maintenance for GSA/DC vehicles to and from service/body shop for repairs;
- Expedites all vehicle requests and completes odometer reading report on GSA fleet;
- Assist Inventory Tech during annual organization inventory, with locating merchandise in the building;
- Assist departments with packaging and getting merchandise to and from Campus Centers;
- Assist with the maintenance work organization of on-site/off-site warehouse and dock to include inventory of supplies and equipment;
- Ensure warehouse, dock and storage areas are clean, organized and maintained with proper supplies;
- Ensure regular disposal of warehouse trash and recycling items in office and dock area;
- Acquire signatures and additional information to complete paperwork; turn-in paperwork when delivery/pickup is complete;
- Fill out the necessary paperwork/tags for equipment delivered on company property;
- Perform other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective function of the department.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
Minimum:
- Associate degree with clean driving record.
Preferred:
- Associates degree with on year warehouse experiences.
Knowledge:
- One year in general warehouse operation; or combination of experience which provides the capabilities to perform the describe duties.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Knowledge & understanding of institutional policies & procedures as well as DOT regulations.
Skills:
- Demonstrate skills in customer service, collaboration, planning, prioritizing, and organization.
- Demonstrate skills in independent decision-making and critical thinking.
- Strong computer skills; advance user of Microsoft Office Suite with expertise in excel.
- Proactive and takes initiative in seeking opportunities for improvements; to provide support and assistance.
- Maintain a professional work environment.
Abilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and/or Saturdays when necessary.
- Ability to work independently, multi-task, and work with interruptions.
- Ability to prioritize time and meet deadlines.
- Ability to operate power tools and equipment when necessary.
- Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the assigned company vehicle.
- Ability to pull a goose neck flatbed trailer and properly tie down large loads.
Physical Requirements, Work environment & Travel:
- Experience or aptitude with handling, lifting, and maneuvering, heavy high-end merchandise up to 50-pounds.
- The noise level in the work environment is typical of most office environments with telephones, personal interruptions, and background noises.
Other Requirement(s):
- Oral fluency in Navajo is highly desirable but not mandatory.
- Must have a valid state driver's license.
- Obtain defensive driving certificate to operate GSA/DC vehicle; operate Forklift and 4x4 Gator.
- Must be willing to work with manage in obtaining certification for forklift.
