ROLE :
The New Mexico Work-Study program provides students with the opportunity to gain valuable work experience in a professional setting through employment on campus that supports their career and degree program. Offering students who are eligible the opportunity to build their resumes while they are working towards achieving their degree. Federal Work-Study employees will provide administrative and office support to various departments at various campus locations.
Major Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities :
- Help plan, schedule, and implement activities for individual and / or group activities based on the department's needs.
- Coordinates and participates in planned activities designed to promote social interaction and intellectual stimulation.
- Clerical duties such as answering phones, writing memos, running errands, word documents, Xeroxing, faxing, etc.
- Assist with the creation of flyers, special event notices, and help publicize events
- Other task as assigned by department.
