Job Summary:
Red Canyon Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Scientific and Technical Information (STINFO) Program Management Analyst to oversee the management, organization, and dissemination of technical and research information. This role is critical to ensure that scientific and technical outputs are documented, tracked, and shared in accordance with federal data governance standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing information flow, supporting publication processes, and promoting information security and accessibility for a technical research environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the lifecycle of technical documentation, from initial drafts through review, approval, and final dissemination to appropriate repositories.
- Establish, maintain, and enforce procedures to ensure the accurate tracking, retrieval, and compliance of technical outputs with applicable information management regulations.
- Collaborate with researchers, analysts, and project leads to ensure scientific data is properly reviewed, marked, and distributed in line with federal information control requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries related to the processing and submission of technical reports, including coordination with information centers and oversight organizations.
- Maintain an inventory of technical products and oversee regular data quality checks to ensure consistency, traceability, and compliance.
- Provide guidance and training on local policies for technical information handling and promote awareness of evolving standards and expectations.
- Monitor compliance with federal and agency-level guidance regarding scientific information accessibility, public release procedures, and metadata documentation.
- Develop internal reporting tools, dashboards, and summary products to support leadership in monitoring information production and compliance trends.
- Assist in the improvement of electronic tracking systems, templates, and process documentation to streamline internal workflows.
- Represent the organization in internal and external meetings related to technical data management and scientific publishing standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Library Science, Technical Communication, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing or coordinating scientific or technical data, preferably within a federal or research-focused organization.
- Active Secret security clearance required.
- Familiarity with government technical data submission protocols, including documentation marking, metadata tagging, and controlled distribution procedures.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with demonstrated experience maintaining data systems and information inventories.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical guidance and collaborate across functional teams.
- Working knowledge of key systems such as DTIC, STINFO repositories, or equivalent data tracking platforms.
Work Environment:This position is based on-site in Dayton, OH, and involves routine collaboration with scientists, security professionals, and government personnel. The role supports a structured, data-driven environment that values accuracy, timeliness, and clear communication across technical disciplines.
