What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plastic Process Technician - Injection Molding position at Dinesol Plastics?
Our ideal candidate for this position must have Process Technician experience in plastic injection molding environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2yrs mfg. exp. in a plastic injection molding facility with 1 yr being in a Process Technician role.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Adapt quickly in a changing environment
- High focus/attention to detail at all times
- Physical strength/stamina required to stand, walk, and lift for long periods of time. Ability to lift heavy objects (50lbs without assistance)
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Full understanding of the injection molding process -processing, troubleshooting, machine maintenance, mold repair and set-up.
- Maintain machine housekeeping.
- Knowledgeable on a wide array of resins.
- Communicate and work with Shift Supervisor and Quality department on approval of parts.
- Ensure that quality and productivity goals are achieved.
- All other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Successful completion of a background screening
