PART TIME Monday - Friday 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm

Summary of Position:
We are looking for Kitchen Support who is capable of cooking meals in accordance with company standards and client preferences. The Kitchen Supports responsibilities include preparing ingredients, effectively communicating with team when cooking, and cleaning the kitchen equipment used after each shift. To be successful, our Kitchen Support will be a skilled multitasker who adheres to food safety codes and keeps our customers satisfaction at the forefront of their minds.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain knowledge of all menu options to answer customer questions
- Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and a variety of other kitchen equipment according to Corporate Dining’s standardized recipes
- Prepare visibly appealing meals; preparing all items in a timely manner; delivering hot and fresh meals
- Safely and effectively use, operate, and read all necessary tools and equipment, including knives and thermometers
- Maintain menu item counts and communicate to Management and service staff when quantities fall below restaurant specific minimum quantity
- Complete kitchen tasks such as line setup, food preparation, cleanup and breakdown
- Communicate any food delays or report any issues with equipment to your manager or shift lead
- Provide positive customer service and handle customer complaints when needed
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by using proper food handling skills and food safety guidelines
- Maintains high standards of personal grooming. Washes hands frequently. Wears gloves to prevent bare hand contact.
- Accurately account for all items coming out of the station
- Understand and follow the food allergy procedure and special orders/restrictions.
- Understand and maintain our clients’ standards within their kitchen/building
- Help with other tasks as needed in order to assist the team and create a smooth service
Job Requirements/ Qualifications:
- ServSafe certification is a plus
- Strong organizational skills, client relations, and hands-on leadership
- Possess EXCELLENT customer service skills and show willingness to always please our guests
- Understand the importance of consistency
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work as part of a TEAM
- Professional communication skills, verbal and written
- Paying attention to details and operating with high efficiency
- Able to stand for the entire shift
- Able and willing to lift 50lbs (as needed)
