The Title Clerk at Dinsmore Auto Group is responsible for processing vehicle titles and registrations accurately and efficiently. This role ensures compliance with state, federal, and local regulations, while maintaining excellent communication with customers, dealership staff, and government agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Title Processing: Prepare, submit, and track all necessary paperwork for vehicle title and registration transactions, including new and used vehicles, trade-ins, and lease buyouts.
- Compliance: Ensure all title documentation adheres to state and federal laws and dealership policies.
- Customer Service: Communicate effectively with customers to resolve title-related issues, answer questions, and provide updates on the status of their paperwork.
- Coordination: Liaise with banks, finance companies, and other external agencies to process liens, title corrections, and other related documentation.
- Record Keeping: Maintain an organized system for title records, ensuring all files are accurate, complete, and easily accessible.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years previous experience in a title clerk or administrative role within the automotive industry required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and dealership management software (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds).
