Dinsmore & Shohl, a prominent national law firm with over 750 attorneys in 30 cities, has an immediate opportunity available for an employment associate in the Los Angeles and San Diego, CA offices. Candidates must have two - six years of experience. Responsibilities include litigation defense and advising employers on compliance with state and federal employment laws and working on FMLA, ADA, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful discharge, and violation of wage and hour law matters. Experience taking depositions, arguing motions, and preparing cases for trial is preferred. Qualified candidates can look forward to a practice that will include significant client contact and handling all aspects of complex employment cases for regional and national clients of all sizes.
A license to practice in California is required. All candidates should have a strong academic background, and possess excellent research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.

The base salary range for this position is $192,000 - $217,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience.
