What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Staff Attorney - Tort Practice Group position at Dinsmore & Shohl LLP?
Dinsmore & Shohl, a prominent national law firm with over 750 attorneys in 30 cities, has an immediate opportunity for a litigation staff attorney in our Louisville, Kentucky office. Preferred candidates will have a minimum of three years of litigation experience, including experience drafting and arguing motions, taking depositions, handling complex discovery and ESI, working with medical records, retaining and working with expert witnesses, and preparing cases for trial. Experience in the defense of healthcare-related negligence cases is preferred. Familiarity with the Kentucky court system is a plus. All candidates should have a strong academic background, and possess excellent research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
A license to practice in Kentucky is required. Out of state candidates who are willing to sit for the Kentucky bar exam, or eligible for admission in Kentucky, will be considered.
