Dinsmore is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant at our Cincinnati, OH location who will support multiple attorneys/paralegals primarily in connection with all phases of trademark protection and enforcement.
Responsibilities
Completing electronic filings
Communicating professionally and in a timely manner with clients
Carrying out billing
Proofreading, editing, and formatting contracts, spreadsheets, other reports and transaction related documents
Managing docketing
Coordinating travel arrangements, time entry and other legal support functions
Requirements
Excellent writing, grammar, proofreading skills, and meticulous attention to detail
Excellent word processing skills and intermediate-level use of Microsoft Office Suite, .pdf editing software, and related legal software, including attorney timekeeping software and electronic document management systems
Familiarity with basic online resources
Possess strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to multi-task
Proven success as a positive team player, as well as an independent worker.
Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
Solid work history including 3-5 years supporting multiple attorneys/paralegals is preferred
Experience in trademark and copyright clearance, prosecution and transactional work is preferred
Experience with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office is preferred
Overall knowledge and understanding of domestic and foreign procurement process for patents and trademarks is preferred
Ability to review and communicate docket to attorneys/paralegals, and effectively report to several professionals is preferred
