Dinsmore has an immediate opportunity available for an Associate in the Real Estate Development Practice Group in Columbus, OH. Ideally, candidates must have a minimum of three years of law firm experience, with a minimum of three years of real estate transactional experience, including commercial finance, acquisitions, dispositions and commercial leasing, reviewing construction contracts, development, zoning, and loan documents, and reviewing property diligence (including resolving title and survey concerns). Candidates with less experience will be considered. Familiarity with public/private partnership agreements for urban redevelopment sites is preferred.
All candidates should have a strong academic background, and possess excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills. A license to practice in Ohio is required. Out of state candidates who are either willing to sit for the bar exam or eligible for admission in Ohio will be considered. Qualified candidates can look forward to an entrepreneurial, collegial work atmosphere and a practice that will include significant client contact and handling all aspects of complex transactions for regional and national clients of all sizes.
