Our office is looking for an Optometric Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a variety of services to our patients, including conducting preliminary eye exams, assisting with contact lens fittings, and providing patient education. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and work well with other teammates. We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping others and making a difference in the lives of our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist optometrist with patient care.
- Greet patients and explain procedures.
- Schedule appointments and maintain patient records.
- Administer eye tests and other vision tests.
- Assist in fitting eyeglasses and contact lenses.
- Perform administrative duties such as filing, answering phones, and taking messages.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Skills:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $19.00 per hour
