Position Description
Job Title : General Laborer
FLSA : Non-Exempt
Job Status : Part-Time, 30 Hours
Reporting Functions : Reports to the Director of Maintenance
Job Function : The general laborer is responsible for cleaning, set-up / tear down for events, light grounds work, etc.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Assist with set up / take down for events on the property.
- Assure that church public spaces are clean and orderly.
- Light grounds work as needed; leaves, shoveling, sanding and salting
- Additional duties as assigned by the Director of Maintenance.

Physical Demands : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is active and requires bending, stooping, reaching, stretching, kneeling, pivoting, carrying and crawling; carrying, pushing and / or pulling; going up and down ladders and flights of steps frequently; climbing and lifting. The employee must frequently safely lift and / or move items 50- 100 pounds.
Working Conditions : Indoor / outdoor. Part-time position; 30 hours per week
