The Camper Experience Lead is responsible for bridging the gap between parents and camp. This individual should have knowledge of camp, experience working with kids, and strong communication skills to connect new families with camp. It is essential to understand the mission and vision of the Diocese of Green Bay and Camp Tekakwitha. The ideal candidate has a deep desire to serve the campers, staff, and community rooted in the Catholic faith.
As a member of the lead team, this individual serves as a role model, setting a standard of excellence for camp counselors, kitchen aides, and counselors in training. While employed at Camp Tekakwitha, this individual must adhere to the fundamental principles of the Catholic Church to align with the mission and vision of the Diocese of Green Bay.
A Missionary Disciple with a servant heart is an example of the ideal candidate.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Embrace the mission and vision of the Catholic Diocese of Green Bay and work in accordance with Catholic Teachings and moral and ethical values.
- Applicant must be 19 years of age and possess a valid driver's license.
- Must be first aid/CPR certified (or willing to be trained).
- Understanding of the mission/vision of Camp Tekakwitha.
- Understanding of Catholic Church teachings and practices.
- Applicant must have a background as a Camp Counselor, including at least one year of previous youth camp staff experience (preferably at Camp Tekakwitha).
- Applicant must have background knowledge of parent communication and experience working with kids.
- Proficiency with conflict resolution and problem-solving.
- Must be a proficient listener and communicator with people from all walks of life.
- Adequate knowledge of the summer camp world, youth programming, and Catholicism.
- Collaborative decision-making skills and conflict management.
- Able to work well with people of all backgrounds and all ages.
- Strong relational ability to serve as a member of a team, work independently, and be hospitable to camp families.
- Competency in aligning to mission/vision, state standards, and ACA regulations.
- Proficiency in word, excel, outlook, and PowerPoint.
