Job Description
PRESIDENT
QUALIFICATIONS :
RESPONSIBLE TO :
The Dean and the Superintendent of Catholic Schools.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Is chief articulator of the system’s Catholic philosophy and mission.
Oversees the general maintenance and long-term security of the property, including major improvements.
Supervises the development and alumni offices.
Oversees the public relations and marketing programs of the schools.
Supervises and evaluates central office staff including, but not limited to, secretaries, bookkeepers, assistants and athletic director.
Directs all long-range planning which pertains to general system-wide questions as well as finances and plant development / utilization.
Arranges for the regular maintenance of the buildings within the system by conferring with the principals and receiving their recommendations for repairs and improvements.
Is responsible for any federal, state, local or diocesan reports made on the system.
Works in a collaborative way with the Catholic Education Commission to oversee the operation of the system.
