Job Description Monsignor Clarke School, is a Catholic PreK-8 school dedicated to fostering academic excellence and spiritual growth, is seeking an organized, reliable, and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to support the Principal in the daily operations of the school. The ideal candidate will exemplify the mission, philosophy, and goals of Monsignor Clarke School in their interactions with staff, parents, students, and the broader community.This individual will serve as the right hand to the Principal and provide administrative, organizational, and clerical support to ensure the smooth functioning of the schools educational environment.II. The administrative assistant should be adaptiveand receptive to the varying requirements of this position.Provide administrative support to the Principal, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating appointments.Assist in drafting, editing, and proofing correspondence, reports, and presentations for the Principal.Manage incoming communications (phone calls, emails, and visitors) and direct them appropriately.Coordinate travel arrangements, conferences, and events for the Principal as needed.Maintain and update the Principals office files, documents, and records in an organized manner.Serve as a liaison between the Principal, staff, parents, students, and community members, fostering positive relationships.Manage school-wide communications, including newsletters, memos, and other correspondence. Social media, databases, website updates - collaborate with Admission and Advancement DirectorPrepare and distribute information about school events, policies, and programs.Assist with scheduling and planning parent-teacher meetings, conferences, and school-wide events.Oversee the daily operations of the Principal's office, ensuring that supplies, equipment, and resources are readily available.Help coordinate the preparation and organization of school-wide meetings and professional development sessions.Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism, ensuring privacy and compliance with school policies.Assist with various school operations, such as student enrollment, attendance tracking, and reporting.Provide support in planning and organizing school events, such as assemblies, Masses, fundraisers, and other school celebrations.Assist in the preparation of materials, decorations, and communications for school events.Maintain and update student and staff records, including attendance and academic files.Prepare reports, presentations, and data as requested by the Principal or other administrative staff.Ensure all records are compliant with diocesan guidelines, state regulations, and school policies.
