What are the responsibilities and job description for the Banquet Server position at Diocese of Providence?
The Diocese of Providence and the Aldrich Mansion in Warwick, RI are seeking Banquet Servers for full- and part-time to perform food and beverage service to guests during events and functions.
This position is responsible for delivering and clearing food and cocktails to guests, ensuring outstanding food quality and presentation, assisting with setup (tables, buffets and other service areas) and breakdown of functions, and interacting with guests in a positive and professional manner. Food safety handling procedures must be practiced at all times.
The well-qualified candidate must possess excellent communication skills, provide a high level of customer service to guests, and be reliable and responsible. Prior food service experience in a banquet setting or the hospitality industry preferred. A high school diploma or a GED certificate is desirable but not necessary. Must also be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 lbs.
