What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head Coach for Varsity Girls Volleyball position at Diocese of Providence?
St. Mary Academy Bay View has an immediate opening for a Head Coach of its Varsity Girls Volleyball team.Position Overview: The Head Coach for Varsity Girls Volleyball plans, directs, and supervises all aspects of the Varsity Volleyball Program in accordance with the RIIL, Athletic Department and school policies. S/he oversees the physiological and skill development of student-athletes in the program. Further, s/he develops each student participant to maximum potential in a program of skill, learning, and improvements.
The volleyball season runs from the middle of August to the beginning of November. Practices are typically 5 days with practice times around 3:30-5:30 p.m. or 4-6 p.m. and 2-3 games a week at 6 or 6:30 p.m.
