As Nazareth School – San Diego’s Preschool Teacher, you will create an engaging, nurturing, and supportive learning environment that fosters academic, social, and spiritual growth. This role involves implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with California State Standards and diocese Religion Standards, nurturing a love for learning while integrating Catholic values. What You’ll Need to Succeed as the Preschool Teacher:
- Possess the required Child Development credits (12 credits minimum), Bachelor's degree preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience in teaching in a preschool classroom, preferably in a Catholic setting.
- Practicing Catholic with an understanding of Catholic values (preferred).
- Proven classroom management and ability to create a nurturing learning environment.
- Proficiency in educational technology and strong communication skills for engaging with students, parents, and colleagues.
