The Diocese of Scranton Catholic School System is searching for a Spanish Teacher for one of our Catholic High Schools. This is a full-time position with benefits. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish Education as well as a PA Teaching Certificate, PA Clearances, and excellent classroom management skills. Candidates should also have strong communication and interpersonal skills and experience with the use of classroom technology.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for Spanish language classes.
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to create a positive learning environment.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their language development.
- Communicate with parents and colleagues to ensure student success and well-being.
- Stay current on language teaching methodologies and incorporate innovative approaches into lessons.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall learning experience for students.
