Overview
Position is responsible for completing assigned tasks through optimizing use of accounting applications to ensure data efficiency. This role involves collaborating with departments and parishes to maximize effective use of technology.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform processing of financial transactions and review of reporting data output.
- Utilize accounting applications to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Support the Controller in the monthly reconciliation and annual audit process.
- Respond to research inquiries from leadership and affiliated entities.
- Other job duties as assigned.
- Minimum 3 years' experience with financial data processing
- Associates degree or certification in accounting systems or finance
- Strong proficiency in accounting applications and database management such as QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Sage Intacct or similar is preferred
- Outstanding time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communications skills both written and oral
- Excellent client service skills
