Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, with the ability to manage financial records accurately. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of St. Mary's Parish in Winona, MN, by ensuring that all financial transactions are recorded and reported in compliance with Diocesan standards.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records by recording daily transactions, including accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Perform account analysis and balance sheet reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, including income statements and cash flow statements, to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
- Assist in budgeting processes by providing necessary data and analysis to support financial planning.
- Manage general ledger accounting activities, ensuring all entries are accurate and timely using ParishSoft Fund Accounting.
- Utilize 10 key typing skills for efficient data entry and record keeping.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information for financial reporting and analysis.
Skills
