Summary
As a CRMA at Dionne Commons, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate and personalized care to our residents. This position is essential in ensuring that our residents receive the highest quality of support and medical attention in our various facilities located in Brunswick, Maine.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each resident.
- Assist with patient care activities, including personal hygiene and mobility support.
- Monitor residents' health status and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents and their families.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop individualized care plans.
- Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations within the facility.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance caregiving skills.
Qualifications
- Valid CRMA certification or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in hospice or elderly care settings is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and patient care practices.
- Proficient in maintaining medical records and documentation standards.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team environment.
- Familiarity with PCC or similar electronic health record systems is a plus.
