Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Roofing Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of bidding processes related to commercial new construction and remodeling/renovations. This role requires performing site visits, documenting existing conditions, and establishing preliminary construction schedules. The successful candidate will coordinate bid processes, attend pre-bid meetings, and analyze proposals for scope and pricing. A professional appearance, positive attitude, and exceptional work ethic are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct site visits and document existing conditions
Establish preliminary construction schedules and durations
Coordinate bid processes and attend pre-bid meetings
Analyze proposals/bids for scope of work and secure pricing
Maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and exceptional work ethic
Skills and Qualifications:
*Must have commercial Roofing Estimator Experience
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong prioritization skills
Ability to work calmly within deadlines and under pressure
Self-starter capable of performing independently and as a team member
Strong customer service skills
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
Ability to analyze problems and make sound decisions in a timely manner based on objectives, risk implications, and costs
Other Information:
Based out of Laurel
No direct reports; works for the Director of Construction
Experience:
