We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic retail team. Your primary focus will be on driving sales through effective communication, product demonstrations, and collaboration with team members. Duties

• Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register while ensuring proper cash handling procedures.
• Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, effectively selling products to customers.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.
• Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor by restocking merchandise and ensuring displays are up-to-date.
• Communicate effectively with customers both in-person and over the phone, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
• Utilize basic math skills for processing transactions and managing inventory.

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience operating a cash register is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions accurately.
• A willingness to learn about products and services offered to better assist customers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
