General Manager - Dire Wolf Tavern and Hallowed Ground
Dire Wolf Tavern is an inclusive space for all to gather in the heart of Salem. Guests can enjoy tavern favorites with a twist, paired with the creative, award-winning sushi fans have come to expect. This warm, inviting tavern serves a fast, casual weekday lunch & dinner and is home to Hallowed Ground, a speakeasy style bar.
The General Manager is responsible for all aspects of daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, high employee satisfaction, and strong financial performance.
The GM is responsible for :
- Building the Business and Guest Base : taking a long term view with regard to guest satisfaction, making every decision based on what is best for the guests.
- Quality of Operations : including food, service, hospitality, training and development, security, safety, cleanliness, sanitation and physical maintenance
- Cost Management and Profitability : monitoring labor, forecasting labor and sales, monitoring and maintaining all cost control centers, beverage cost, etc.
- Personnel : hiring, staff development / training, scheduling, performance reviews
- Local marketing
- Facility and Equipment
