Direct Agents is looking for a Copywriter to join our Studio team to work on client projects. This role is ideal for a writer with a solid understanding of digital marketing and a passion for crafting compelling, engaging, and effective copy. You will be responsible for producing high-quality content across various digital platforms, ensuring that our clients' messaging aligns with their goals and brand voice.
This role pays $35-$40/hour, depending on experience.
- Become a part of the Direct Agents Studio team- a creative graphic design, visual storytelling, and video production team
- Research, design and execute a wide variety of graphics projects as assigned, from inception through completion with the creation of moodboards, flowcharts, wireframes and design mockups
- Collaborate with the DA Studio team and client services and sales to help reach objectives and exceed goals for client projects
- Work in a fast-paced environment and learn key trends and approaches to current digital media space
- Contribute to overall performance by providing innovative design solutions based on promotional assets available or to be developed
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Projects:
- Write clear, concise, and engaging copy for websites, social media, email campaigns, blogs, product descriptions, and more.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create content that aligns with client briefs and brand guidelines.
- Revise and adapt copy based on client feedback and performance data.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy across all written content for each client
- Collaborate effectively with creative teams and clients to ensure deadlines are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions, providing creative input and new ideas for client campaigns
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in copywriting, preferably in a digital agency or similar environment.
- Proven experience creating compelling copy for digital platforms (websites, social media, email, blogs, etc.).
- Strong understanding of SEO, digital marketing, and content strategy.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Ability to adapt writing style to different tones, voices, and industries.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in B2B and B2C copywriting.
- Familiarity with design tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign).
- Knowledge of web analytics and performance metrics.
Special Notes
- This is a part time (20-25 hours/week) role
- This is an in person role based in our NYC office. You must reside, or be willing to relocate within commuting distance of the office for this role.
