Direct Auto Insurance Company, (Illinois, wholly owned by the Nodak Insurance Group), is looking for Full and Part-Time experienced Adjusters. Remote work is available.
Attention to detail is critical. The candidate must have strong writing and communication skills with basic math skills.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Communicating with policy holders, business partners, liability claimants, claimant legal representatives and other insurance companies to obtain/provide the necessary information.
- Assessing coverage, liability and damages.
· Timely review of claim documentation and information.
· Securing additional information/investigation as necessary.
- Identifying responsible parties for subrogation (collection) efforts.
· May provide technical guidance, assistance, and training to claim representatives.
REQUIREMENTS
· Must reside within 90-minute driving distance of Rosemont, IL.
-Candidate must be assertive, energetic, self-motivated, and results-oriented and demonstrate decisionmaking with strong problem-solving skills.
· Proficiency in general computer, software, and internet skills with working knowledge of MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
· Bi-lingual (Spanish or Polish) helpful but not required.
· Minimum experience 2 years for Adjuster positions.
· Paperless documentation management skills preferred but not required.
