What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Lead position at Direct Automotive Distributing?
We are an automotive parts distributor seeking a Warehouse Lead. The position is responsible for pulling customer orders in an accurate, efficient, and safe manner. They may also be responsible for leading a small team of associates, dispatch and routing of drivers and other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Has previous warehouse experience and a positive work ethic.
- Ability to interact with various levels of management and customers
- Positive work ethic, extremely organized, have strong attention to detail
- Strives to provide a great customer service experience
- Works well with an energetic team in a growing and successful organization
- Accurately pull customer orders
- Participate in inventory control
- Stock shelves as inventory arrives
- Maintain warehouse organization
- Professional communication with customers
- Ability to write customer returns accurately
- Must be able to handle hazardous materials
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Previous forklift experience is a plus
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license and less than 2 moving violations is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
