Sr Mgr–Strategic Finance

Lead a team of analysts that support pricing analysis, business case development, and returns-based modeling for the Strategic Finance team; lead analysis for potential new business opportunities (capital investments, customer contract negotiations, etc.); assist with strategic planning initiatives and long-term financial modeling.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Manage a team of analysts, providing guidance and mentorship
• Lead returns and profitability analysis to determine pricing for organic growth models
• Work directly with the commercial team to help develop new pricing concepts
• Provide the financial support for major customer contract negotiations
• Assist in developing reporting tools to monitor customer performance and evaluate the success of new products
• Build and manage post-mortem analyses for customer pricing
• Research and inform team of key industry trends
• Lead returns analysis and diligence for potential capital investments, business cases, and strategic initiatives
  
  

Qualifications

• Degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field
• 5 - 7 years finance experience
• Financial modeling guru
• Transportation industry experience desired
• Excel & PowerPoint presentation skills
• Excellent analytical & problem solving skills
• Experience leading and managing a team desired
• Clear and concise verbal and written communicator
• Comfortable in fast-paced team setting
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and consistently meet deadlines
• PE, VC, Corp Dev, Investment Banking background experience a plus
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
