Pay range: $60k - $82k (per year)
Job Description:
The Clinical Dietitian is responsible for managing the nutritional care of both inpatients and outpatients. Key duties include conducting nutritional assessments, overseeing physician-ordered therapeutic diets and supplements, and providing nutrition education to patients and their families. The Clinical Dietitian also participates in patient rounds and ensures compliance with clinical nutrition policies.
Qualification/Experience:
- A bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field is required.
- Master's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics preferred.
- Completion of an accredited dietetic internship program.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working as a clinical dietitian in a healthcare or hospital setting preferred.
- Experience in critical care nutrition, renal nutrition, or pediatric nutrition is a plus.
Licenses/Certifications:
- A registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential is required.
- Licensed Dietitian (LD) in the state of Georgia or eligibility to obtain state licensure.
- Certification in specialized areas of nutrition (e.g., Certified Diabetes Educator, Certified Nutrition Support Clinician) is preferred.
