Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) – Kalamazoo, MI
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days | 40 hours/week
Rate: $42/hr
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week travel assignment in Kalamazoo, MI. The ideal candidate will work closely with physical therapists to provide patient care and implement treatment plans to help patients improve mobility and manage pain.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in executing treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist
- Monitor patient progress and report to the supervising PT
- Educate patients and their families on treatment techniques and home exercises
- Maintain accurate patient records
Requirements:
- Active PTA license in the state of Michigan
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience preferred
- Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)
- COVID-19 vaccination (as required by facility)
