Staff Nurse - Intensive Care Unit

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. As an ICU Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to critically ill patients in a hospital setting.

Duties

• Monitor and assess patients' conditions in the ICU
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and implement patient care plans
• Operate and monitor medical equipment
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Skills

• Proficiency in hospital medicine and critical care practices
• Experience in IV infusion and triage procedures
• Knowledge of pediatric, geriatric, and behavioral health nursing
• Familiarity with critical care transport protocols
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced teaching hospital environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient care
• Understanding of family planning principles in healthcare

Job Types: Travel nursing, Contract

Pay: $54.00 - $58.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
