Schedule: Monday to Friday (8 am to 5 pm)
Pay Range: $25/hr -$32/hr
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated X-ray Technician / Medical Assistant to join our outpatient healthcare team. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality imaging services, ensure patient safety, and support medical staff as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform X-ray examinations following established protocols.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures and ensure their comfort.
- Monitor vital signs and administer basic life support (BLS) if needed.
- Maintain patient records and document imaging procedures.
- Ensure proper maintenance of X-ray equipment and report malfunctions.
- Follow infection control protocols and safety regulations.
- Assist with medical tasks, including medication administration if required.
Requirements:
- Certification as an X-ray Technician or Radiologic Technologist (required).
- Ability to function as a Medical Assistant.
- Proficiency in vital signs assessment and basic life support (BLS).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.
- Professionalism and ability to handle sensitive situations with confidentiality.
